Recently,  the Alibaba Dharma institute told Frontline that Alibaba Dharma is  developing a neural network chip, Ali-NPU, which will be used in AI  reasoning calculations such as image video analysis and machine  learning. According to the design, the chip's price/performance ratio will be 40 times that of current products. The research and development of this chip will better realize the  application of AI intelligence in business scenarios, improve computing  efficiency and reduce costs.
